SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

Sponsor Education Programs and Workshops:

Better Together: Building Community Through Partnership This collaboration between HMCTE and the Haverstraw African American Connection bridges the gap between the Jewish and Black communities through educational and outreach programs that illuminate our shared values – justice, safety, and mutual understanding. Together we foster unity and a brighter future for all.

HMCTE Holocaust Workshops Through our workshops, we tackle urgent societal challenges and are committed to dismantling bias and confronting hate in all forms. By integrating critical, responsive content, we empower students to lead with empathy, champion equity, and bring informed perspectives to the forefront. We are continually adding, enhancing, and expanding our offering of Museum workshops.

Bridging the Gap for Underfunded Schools We are committed to making educational opportunities available to all. We have established grants that underwrite bus transportation costs and subsidize the cost of our programs, to ensure that students from Title 1 and other underfunded schools can experience impactful educational trips to HMCTE. This allows us to break down financial barriers to learning and growth, driving equity in education.

Sponsor Community Commemorations: Holocaust Remembrance Programs

Kristallnacht Commemoration (November 9-10, 2025) – On this night in 1938, the Nazis unleashed a series of pogroms against the Jewish population in Germany and its recently incorporated territories. It is marked as the harrowing turning point leading to the horrors of the Holocaust. Together we remember this dark chapter and honor those who endured its devastation.

International Holocaust Remembrance Day (January 27, 2025) – The United Nations General Assembly designated this day, the anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz, as a time to remember the millions of Jewish and other victims of the Holocaust.

Yom HaShoah (April 23-24, 2025) – A day of solemn reflection to remember the six million Jews who perished in the Holocaust. We honor their memory, stand with Survivors, and recommit to combatting hatred and ensuring that “never again” is more than a promise – it’s our shared responsibility.

Sponsor Annual Fundraisers and Benefits

Annual Benefit Brunch (May 4, 2024) Honoring esteemed pillars of our community, recognizing their exceptional dedication to advancing Holocaust, genocide and human rights education.

Annual Run for the Six – To honor the memory of the six million Jewish souls who perished during the Holocaust. This meaningful event offers an opportunity to run or walk in tribute to a Holocaust Survivor, or in memory of someone who lost their life during this dark chapter in history. Together, let’s ensure their legacies live on.
